Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Directed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Industry and supported by Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology, Electric Vehicle Major Project Management Office, Ministry of Science and Technology, the People's Republic of China and China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, this event is jointly organized by China Electricity Council, China Auto CAIEC ltd. and Hefei Municipality.

In its effort to become an internationally acknowledged platform for product and technology exchange in the areas of energy saving and new energy vehicle, the event’s 30,000 square meters exhibition space will feature energy saving and new energy vehicles as well as the related technologies, equipment and most up to date products. In addition to the 80 exhibitors such as DONGFENG Motor Corporation, CHANGAN, Chery and JAC, who have made their presence in the Green Auto China 2012, many more famous automobile manufacturers and component producers will come to take this opportunity. The organizing committee will also work with relevant local authorities from cities such as Hefei, Beijing, Shenzhen and provinces such as Shandong, Hubei, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Xiangyang to invite and accommodate local delegations from these regions. Cooperation with industrial countries such as America, Germany, Japan and Korean will also be initiated to strengthen promotional activities abroad. It is our hope that the number of international exhibitors will be increased and this event will become a well accepted international exhibition.

In parallel to the exhibition, over 30 high profile technology exchange activities will be hosted, where officials from competent government departments, renowned domestic and international experts, as well as representatives from famous companies will be invited to hold in-depth discussions about the future trends, market status and government policies for the development of energy saving and new energy vehicles.

Other side events such as the business negotiation activities, the tour to the green energy vehicle manufacturers, and the on site test driving will also become quite popular among exhibitors as well as visitors.
